Above pic is a 2006 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic motorcycle shown in Rich Sunglow Blue that was purchased new in 2006 and has been completely customized by the owner of REC (Kevin) with his vision to "turn back time" to an era of the best motorcycle styling in the world, aka. the Harley-Davidson 1949 Hydra-Glide. This modern day 2006 Heritage Softail Classic model is reminiscent of the 1949 Hydra-Glide with such styling cues as: front hydraulic forks, dual exhaust, dual trumpet air horn, tear-drop toolbox, round mirrors, front/rear engine guards, solo seat, front/rear fender rails, classic fender tip, concho fender skirt, front fender stanchion, visor style lighting trim rings, chrome dash panel extension, three channel luggage rack w/handrail, classic rear fender leather mud flap, driver/passenger oval floorboards, black leather saddle bags, windshield, handle-bar leather fringe & front/rear bullet turn signals. These were standard items from the 1940's thru the mid 1960's and are not found as factory options on modern day motorcycles. This bad boy 2006 Heritage Softail Classic has been turned back in time to preserve that "Old School look" and to give homage to the 1949 Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide.
