  • August 10, 2006 - 25,000 customers in the south Chicagoland suburbs lost electrical power due to thunderstorms.
  • August, 2007 - 615,000 customers lost electrical power in Northern Illinois and in the Chicago area due to thunderstorms and major flooding. 
  • December 24, 2007 - 250,000 customers lost electrical power in the Chicago area over the Christmas holiday weekend due to ice, snow & high winds. Some customers were without commercial electrical power for over 24 hours.
  • May 30, 2008 - 69,000 customers lost electrical power over the weekend due to thunderstorms and high winds in the Chicago area.
  • June 5, 2008 - 8,000 customers lost electrical power due to thunderstorms and high winds in the Chicago area.
